Mona's Cafe: Discover the Best Middle Eastern Flavors in New Orleans

This is the absolute BEST Lebanese food I’ve ever had. They make it fresh when you order. The gyro meat is perfect. The service is amazing and they are fast! If you’ve never been, I’m telling you right now it’s worth the trip.

This Middle Eastern restaurant has quickly become one of my favorites, especially for the grape leaves they’re absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a great selection of healthy options on the menu. The food is consistently good, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The place looks very elegant after the new remodel, making the overall dining experience even better. Highly recommend!

Great healthy choice. My go to is the chicken shawarma plate. Love the jalapenos added to the hummus. The salad dressing is also great. The chicken is moist and full of flavor. Hate when chicken shawarma is dry and bland, not here! Check the iced mint tea out too.

I always go to this place with my boyfriend and we love it, the food is wonderful, the lentil soup is divine... yesterday we went as soon as the restaurant opened and we had great service, thank you to the waiter who served our table (I can't remember his name), he was always smiling and attentive.The food was beautifully presented and delicious! As always, everything was very good!

The lamb chops were good, not marinated long enough. The food was good and the Lebanese tea was good and it had the nuts. My waiter was excellent and he was a little surprised I was aware of the dishes and the flavor the food should have.

I had a great time visiting this halal restaurant. There is nice decor inside with cute booth seating with an authentic feel. The service was great and the food was great too. We ordered the combo kabab, chicken kabab, spinach pie, and falafels. The food was fresh and delicious. We had a great experience!!

This is a fantastic Lebanese spot with friendly staff and incredible food. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. While the interior isn’t overly fancy, the food more than makes up for it. One thing to note: the green pepper pickle on top of the hummus is quite spicy, so be cautious if you're sensitive to heat!

It's been a while since I've been here. I truly forgot what a fantastic job they do. The fried haloumi is salty and delicious, the hummus is smooth and rich, the pita are fresh and soft, and the protein options are flavorful and tender. I don't think there's any way to go wrong here. Added bonus is the chance to stop in the store and pick up your favorite spice, cheese, or any number of products and extremely reasonable prices. Get over there and get some delicious food!
